Painted during the height of Quarantine, I wanted to capture my longing for my home across the Pacific Ocean during this period of uncertainty. The paper airplanes represent both literally the planes that take people home and figuratively the thoughts and prayers for a home. The blue hue of the Middlebury mountains in the back contributes to the moody composition.
