This oil painting is a self-portrait that places me in the outdoors. I'm entangled in the tree branches glued onto the canvas, and the background mimics a forest floor with crushed-up leaves. Wishes in many different languages are tied to the tree as the screaming self-portrait seeks freedom from the branches.
